In my mind a love song from Alfredo to Lillian. Alfredo wants to keep Lillian with him after she passes.

He kind of dreams of hiding her away and plans to stay with her and continue their love /

I often see a cartoon style video for this with a Tim Burton flare and with some inspiration of the old Steamboat Willie cartoon from 1928.

This song was written on the road home in my truck during a tour out to Texas. It is personal, in a way, to my wife and I but also fits the mold at the time for bringing the idea in line with the story of Codona and Lillian.

This was a song prompt with the title "Whistling In the Graveyard." I started writing this a while back but put it away for a bit.

My recent trip to Dripping Springs inspired me to write a bit more and I had some ideas come to me to finish the song with a Bridge and 3rd spoken verse.

This was a song prompt with the title "Whistling In the Graveyard." I started writing this a while back but put it away for a bit.

My recent trip to Dripping Springs inspired me to write a bit more and I had some ideas come to me to finish the song with a Bridge and 3rd spoken verse.

This song is about superstitions surrounding death. Whistling in the Graveyard is said to summon evil spirits or the Devil. The Bridge talks about covering mirrors and coins on the eyelids etc. All part of the superstitions that surround death and the dying.

A somewhat perfect addition for Halloween. I am still tweaking the recording but wanted to give you an advanced listen.

In listening back a to a responsive audience and an at times, fast paced and excited performance, Johanesen decided to release the recordings for a snapshot of a moment in between studio releases.

Fogartyville is an arts and community venue that hosts an independent radio station as well, 96.5 LPFM.
