Another single from the Semi Tennessee EP recorded in Nashville, TN with producer Shawn Byrne of Great Hill Productions. The tracking sessions went from an idea for a single or two to a 5 song EP release due out in 2025.
The band sessions were recorded at the Owl Studio with Shawn producing and playing upright bass and also

The EP dives a bit more into Johanesen’s love of Western Swing. Fans of Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys, Asleep at the Wheel, Lyle Lovett, Dale Watson, etc might appreciate the sonic approach on this record.
